I hate staff meetings. And can someone tell me how I got volunteered to teach other members of staff how to use the scanner when we have our in-school ICT training day? I mean seriously. Why didn't I tackle the teacher sitting beside me when she said, and I quote, "helsinkibaby is a whizz at computers. Should she be in a group with people who know nothing?" And why didn't I shoot the teachers who replied "Yes! Absolutely!" How do I get myself into these things?
Which is also what I asked myself when writing this.

People know that Tony is a ladies’ man. They don’t know that when he falls, he falls hard.
Or that he invariably gets his heart broken, ends up in his apartment alone, listening to the radio.
He knew he shouldn’t fall for Kate, thought she’d never look at him that way.
Then came that night where they danced a little too close to one of her favourite songs.
It’s one of his now too, and it begins as the DJ says their names, and while Kate can’t hear it, that’s not the point.
Tony hears it and remembers.
And smiles.
