Mood not improved by the pilot being a backdoor pilot from CSI Miami, necessitating Horatio going to New York... first, Speed is from New York. Would a bit of backstory be too much to hope for? Yes, of course, since he's not the RedHeaded StepChild of God. Silly me. Plus, Zuiker is already banging the drum about David Caruso returning to New York, what with the history he has with shows there... please, please, please, can anyone write me the fic where Sipowicz shows up and bitch slaps Horatio into the middle of next week? Pretty please with fic on top?

christinekh - it's not Sweiss, but it is the fic that you challenged me to write way back when! For those of you not privy to that conversation, it's West Wing, Toby/Ginger, explaining Ginger's absence in season five. ( What Absence Does )
Also have a shiny new icon to go along with it...I've been playing with photoshop and I need feedback. Also more icon space.
And mini-rant - TV3 showed the American Idol "Soul" night tonight. We don't get the results show until Saturday night. Dude, that's just wrong. Wrong I tell you!
