helsinkibabyDoes anyone have Norton AntiVirus? I've been trying to update my virus definitions since June and kept getting this error message after it had been updating away for so long...
The LiveUpdate server failed to respond in a reasonable amount of time. This could happen because you could not connect to the server, the server is now unavailable, or you became disconnected to the server. Try running LiveUpdate again.
I thought it was a LiveUpdate glitch and it would get fixed in time, and since I was away for July and half of August and my computer was barely on/connected to the internet, I thought no more of it.
But now I'm trying to update my definitions, which is now a 7 and a half meg file to be downloaded on dialup (eeek!) and the same damn message comes up every time... last night when it was halfway through the download. And it doesn't save where it stopped, oh no, every time it goes back to the start.
Looked through the help page, no good, and if you can find an email addy on it, you're a better person than I am... anyone got any thoughts???
