Bournemouth was great, the Ball was wonderful, Geordi was so nice, and Uhura spoke for 35 minutes at the start of her guest talk without being asked a question!

And for next year? They announced at the closing ceremonies that Stephen Furst and Peter Jurasik will be there! (Londo and Vir from Babylon 5). There was, shall we say, epic amounts of flail from me...you know when you have one of those moments where the only sound you can make is "EEEEEE" but you're in public so you can't very well and all you can do is clap like a demented sealion? Yes, that was me.

My quick thoughts are these - totally agree with Jason about Chris's "original" move...the second I saw it, I was like "But where is the skating?" Not only did Kyran do it last year, Darren Gough did it on Strictly the year before. What does it have to do with the ice?

I thought Nicky undermarked Suzanne, and was mildly amused by him and Karen having a domestic. As to the argument that it was all lift and no skating, well, I was heard to mutter "It never stopped anyone with Bonnie..." *ducks and runs away from [livejournal.com profile] meeshy)

Thoughts for the skate off, Greg and Steve, I think Linda's (ok, Dan's) got too much of the public vote, and she is a better skater than Greg. Though I wish we could get rid of not so much Steve but Susie... she's turning into a right Borzenkova.
