Probably everyone has seen this because I've been meaning to look at it for ages, but Randy Travis and Carrie Underwood duet "I Told You So" on American Idol
Also known as when bad hair happens to good people (because Carrie, seriously, from the neck up? Just no.) and proof positive that Botox can do awful damage to your vocal cords. (Because Randy, I love you, and you're very sweet in the video and all, but man, that's not a good vocal.)
First real day of the NewHelsinkiPrincipal era today. First order of business, half in half out staff meeting called for Friday, ie, a late day for us, and in this era of work-to-rule, we are not impressed. First look at the agenda, and it has stuff on it like "School Assessment Policy" and "School Planning Arrangements." Why do I not think it's going to be as simple as just "Do a bit of each."?
