I'm drabbling for Navy NCIS.
azarsuerte I'm blaming you! We have
Kate’s father raised her to be tough, be strong, never let weakness show in public.
She’s always done that, until the day that she stands in a graveyard, holding her mother’s hand, watching his coffin be lowered into the ground. She knows she’s about to break down, hates herself for it, but she’s not strong enough to stop it.
Then she feels a pressure on her other hand, and she glances up at Gibbs. He’s looking straight ahead, not at her, but she knows that that’s his way of saying that he’s there for her.
Strong again, she squeezes back. which is Gibbs/Kate, and we have
Abby’s nothing like the girl Tony thought he would marry.
He’s always gone for conventional perfection, the kind he could take home to meet Mom.
Abby might not be conventional, but to him she is perfection and he can’t imagine her any other way. Her enthusiasm for her job, for life, makes him smile, and when he took her home, his mom thought her delightful.
She surprises him, she challenges him, and he knows that their life together will never be dull.
So when she goes down on one knee in front of him, he doesn’t hesitate to say yes. which is Tony/Abby. Both are allegedly love stories that don't use the word love, as per the drabble challenge topic.
Question - is there any chance of Peyton Manning remembering that he can actually play football some time in the next eleven and a half minutes? I want to know.
