Posting early because for some unknown reason I have to go to a union meeting tonight. Except that I do know the reason, I'm union rep... but it's cold and dark and the roads are bad and Smallville is on the telly...

And I see that the writers_choice challenge for this week is date ... cue my brain exploding with ideas. This is a night where I could quite happily sit in front of the computer and not move!

Yeah. So union meeting was not attended by me. Bad union rep but not with the caring, as bad weather and freezing roads meant I was not going out... Nuala, who lives two miles away from the venue texted me to say she wasn't going, she was too afraid, so I was not driving 22 miles for it!

Have written two pieces for the date challenge on writers_choice -- this is not good.

And now I'm doing Golden Globes critique with Bekki.
