(no subject)

So it's the 31st of August and I'm back to school tomorrow... I can't believe the summer went by so fast! And no, strangely enough, I'm not looking forward to going back! People say, "Oh, don't you get bored after two months off?" -- believe you me, I can comfortably say that my answer is "No!"

On the bright side, just spent three days (Sunday night to tonight) with the boyfriend, who came over to stay... had quite nice weather, think I even managed to catch the sun today, and all in all just a very nice time together...and since I'm not going to see him again until October and the Galactica con, it was a good way to end the summer!

New Rent trailer! As tk_rtmt will attest, there was much squeeage done over it - dude!dialogue! - and there will be many thoughts about it, oh yes there will, as soon as I get a chance to type them up!

Any Rent fans on my flist, the soundtrack is now avaiable for pre-order on amazon.com -- complete with track listing! *bounce*

First thought - they put La Vie Boheme B on disc two, when LBV and I Should Tell You are on disc one? Are you kidding me? That's going to annoy the bejesus out of me, I can just tell.

Second thought - rough script I saw was right about You'll See being moved up the running order, it's now song three, Seasons of Love leads off the whole shebang, and there's an extra track by Sherie Rene Scott called Love Heals at the end of the soundtrack. The songs that you'd expect to go are gone, all the dialogue ones - Happy New Year, Christmas Bells, On the Street, all the voice mails...Halloween is there, which I was worried about, and I confidently predict that it will make me howl in the cinema... of course, I don't hold out much hope once we get to Without You and the I'll Cover You Reprise... oooh, and Goodbye Love makes it in there... not sure if it'll be the whole thing or selected bits, but if they cut any of the Mark/Roger fight, especially Mark's "Perhaps it's because I'm the one of us to survive" I'll be furious... and ooooh I just not the notion of an icon... *goes to play*
