Sep. 11th, 2005 06:36 pmShopping in town yesterday, went into HMV, and please let it be known that I'm being very good and frugal with the DVD shopping. Except for Press Gang Season Five which is in the post, because really, that's vital. But I digress. What did I find there? The Stargate Season 7 box set, which retails here at E100-120, depending on the shop, marked down to E49.99... and since my birthday in July, I've been carrying around E50 of HMV vouchers. This, says I, is a sign. Ergo, it is now mine!
HelsinkiBoyfriend is at a Star Trek convention this weekend - just got a text from him, "Do you have a Denise Crosby autograph?" When I texted back no, I got a reply back a few minutes later basically telling me that I do now... *pets HelsinkiBoyfriend* Do I have him trained well, or what???
And, thanks to my wonderful friend Mel, I've just seen the first 7eps of season two Battlestar Galactica, and have the next three to go. No spoilers as yet, though I will do a huge post, but just to get it out of my system - DUDE!!!!! I'd actually forgotten how much I love love love this show... is it October yet? Huh?? Last three eps will be looked at tonight... American football, US Open tennis, All Ireland Hurling, sleep, who needs these things???? Not I!
ETA: That I can't count, because Mel of course sent me *7* eps of BSG, of which I had, at that point, seen four, and had three left to go. For I was over-excited and going at a million miles an hour, because DUDE!!!
