Jul. 30th, 2006 12:43 pmEvery time I come back from England, I whinge about (amongst other things) how slow dial up is compared to broadband, but I'm not going to do that today. Even though it is.
Had a lovely birthday on Friday, went out for dinner with Karl and my family and ate far too much... Mum made birthday cake as well, which was quite yummy!
Went to see Billy Joel in concert last night... parents and B on one side of the stadium ('twas in Croke Park), with me and Karl in the other section. Excellent excellent night, but when he said an eight o'clock start, he did not mean one minute past!!! His version of New York State of Mind was worth the price of a ticket all on its own, and I think I frightened the life out of Karl when his last song was "You May Be Right"...cue me jumping up and down, dancing away and knowing all the lyrics!!!
Karl get to see the house on Tuesday evening... hopefully he'll like it, then we're back in England on Wednesday and at the Galactica Two convention on the Friday... can't wait!!!
