I find it profoundly unfair that while, like a lot of my flist, I spend much of Sept/Oct moithering about Nano, that when I decide (once and again!) not to sign up because (a) I have no plot ideas to speak of, and (b) I have too much on in the month of November, I come up with not one but two notions that could reach 50,000 words *the night before the damn thing begins* with therefore no time to plan anything.
Besides, tomorrow, I head off to Cork with Himself until Sunday, (4 days down), then next weekend, we're off to Phoenix (Harry Potter con in Belfast) and then there are a couple of other things as well... not to mention that the Grand Prix of figure skating is starting up, and I can actually download it this year (and that so far I've only watched the pairs short and men's short of Skate America) not to mention that I hardly have time this weather to write 50 words, let alone 50,000...
I dunno, it's just one of the things that I want to try to do, but circumstances conspire against me, year after year!
*sighs*
And on a totally unrelated note? I saw the men's short of Skate America. And not that I enjoy writing this, because it spells doom gloom and total disaster for the poor chap, I had a huge fangirly moment over Daisuke Takahashi's performance. Both times that I watched it. *shakes head* No good can come of me fangirling him, and yet I am helpless in his wake. (For those of you who know the program? It was when he was doing the straight line step. I squealed. Twice.)
