Ah, new ship, you make me do the wacky. Have spent the last few days wading through the Criminal Minds section at the Pit of Voles. Things I have found.

*An inordinate amount of slash... does anyone else remember a time when that wasn't allowed there, or do I imagine it?

*Plenty of Morgan/Garcia.

*At least half a dozen crossover fics with Higher Ground where JJ is really Shelby with a whole new identity. And one with the original idea that JJ is Shelby's biological mother. Which makes no sense, but points for originality!

*A couple of JJ/Hotch stories which aren't wonderful but prove that I'm not just the only one seeing things (though would it matter if I were?).

Yes, and as of last night, the JJ/Hotch thingamajig that vomited onto my Microsoft Word is 3,500 words long. Yegads.

Four and a half thousand words, no end in sight (or beginning or middle if it comes to that) an icon, and a possible ficlet for the writers_choice challenge that may tomorrow see the light of LJ... please make it stop. I don't need another fandom/ship... *whines*
