(no subject)

Just got curious having read something on Christmas Eve, and it is true... Ireland has a lady entered in the European Figure Skating Championships next week. Ignoring the fact that she's German born (and was so in 1991, which freaks me out), she's being trained out of Delaware by the Luddingtons and Jeff DiGregorio and BR Williams (the only name I don't recognise), her previous coach was Kerry Leitch... scores are low but she's only competed in JGP events... I am curious to see how this will work out!

ETA: When brushing my teeth last night, my brain finally worked out that BR Williams is more than likely Barbara Roles Williams, US skater in the 1960s and former coach to, among others, Nicole Bobek. (But then, who hasn't been?)
