Just realised and am appalled by how long it's been since I updated this. Hence I'm updating with some recs that have gathered on the machine...
Fandom 1994-2000ish by arduinna --took me right back!
But World Enough and Time by ratherastory, Hawaii 5 0 does The Time Traveler's Wife. Steve/Kono, which is not my ship, but wonderfully done. And heartbreaking.
In Transit by sequitur, NCIS, the team and Tony in particular on the flight back from Indiana post Twilight
Undistinguished Things also by sequitur, also NCIS, five times Ziva had Tony's back.
