Last Good Friday, I was in London with a group of friends, suffering from the beginnings of tonsilitis (which by Saturday morning was in full flight) and morning sickness that lasted all day (which I couldn't tell anyone about as I was only seven weeks along). And I couldn't face chocolate. All in all, I have rarely been more miserable in my life.

Today, as I type, Abigail is sitting beside me, cooing and gooing away. My little girl is a chatterbox. (Like her mother, I know. You don't need to tell me.)

And to top it all, it appears Law and Order UK has inspired me to fic. Who knew?
