Well, at least now we know who this year's Ricky is. It's Jennifer. Can anyone, anyone, and I mean anyone, explain to me how the hell she managed to go out after a performance like that? She was amazing... and I mean that, my jaw literally dropped during the middle of the performance. HelsinkiSister and I kinda figured something was hinky when they told George to join the top group... obviously, he joined the Divas, but when Seacrest told him he was with the wrong group, we showed our twinship with identical cries of "What the fuck???"

Diana bleated her way through One Voice -- and I know now who this year's Carmen is, Revenge of Goat Girl. John Stevens was appalling... there's no way he was better than George. And as for Jasmine... yeah meh, whatever. I did think she was ok, better than she has been, but she was pitchy in the glory notes near the end.

Speaking of pitchy, LaToya definitely was when she was hitting her own glory notes near the end. She was actually the weakest of the three; Fantasia, who I'm not a fan of but I think she's a good singer, did It's a Miracle well, but I'm of the opinion that all the cutting to the daughter was the most shameful piece of vote-grabbing that I've ever seen in my life.

George... I knew last night that he sang Trying to get the Feeling Again and frankly, when HelsinkiSister told me that, it took me a good hour to remove the metaphorical knife from my metaphorical wrist. Then I thought of the song, figured out that he could do a verse and then go right to the bridge and he might make it. I reckoned without the horrible arrangement they gave him... considering that I was expecting a trainwreck, I was actually pleasantly surprised, but Jesus God and all the saints in heaven, there's no way he should have been ahead of the Divas. And I felt so terrible for him when he went to their group and then got told he had the wrong group... he obviously couldn't believe it either, and felt terrible...

Shameful, shameful, shameful voting America... after getting it right last week too, I had such high hopes, then Seacrest shot them down in flames.
