So, I'm in town on my own, and my first stop is Eason's, the bookshop, to meet Nora. Well, I'm early because traffic was freakishly light, so in I go, and I find the cult magazines and pick up the new Cult Times. And I'm standing there, reading it with one eye closed and the other squinting (because I'm the spoilerphobic kind for Alias and 24 and there's an interview with James Dale Badge in it which I can't look at/read for another five weeks)

And what do I see???

An ad. For a convention. A convention I knew about, which has as guests Mark Metcalf (The Master from Buffy and DB Woodside. It's on in July, and I didn't book for it up until now because I'm going to too many cons this year already and I don't particularly care about MM and, well, you've all heard of my encounter with DB. complete with art

But they've added guests. Who, you might ask?

I froze. Then I turned to my right to eeeee to my sister. She was at home. I turned to my left to eeee to Nora. I was early, she wasn't there yet. So there I am, walking around Easons, trying to keep my feet on the ground when all I really wanted to do was squeal like a fangirl, because there is no way that I'm not going!

So, long story short, Nora arrived, we bounced and squealed, and now there are four of us off to the con, tickets books and all!!!
