helsinkibabyOn the bright side, dentist went well, well, as well as fillings and scrapings can. However, she says she can see a significant improvement in my teeth and gums, and I managed to avoid an appointment for next Wednesday, so all is well.
On the not so bright side, still no sign of Press Gang DVDs. Had to work very hard to resist the urge to throw the post that did come back at the postman and tell him not to come back until he has something more substantial.
Also very much a mixed bag, but I found out something about season five of CSI (no, not that!) which, when I went for to look at Yahoo news about it, inadvertantly spoiled me for the next season of 24... and has me thinking about tomorrow night's finale, so that's not good. Just in case anyone doesn't want to know about CSI, (I'm trying to forget the 24 stuff)
Reiko Aylesworth (Michelle from 24, she who rocks the freaking casbah, she who I adore and worship) is joining CSI as a lab based detective. Apparently, her casting has nothing to do with the firings of Jorja and George, and we don't know anything about her character.
To the first, I say "Feh" - bullshit it has nothing to do with the firings.
To the second - lord above help me, but I'm picturing Reiko Aylesworth standing beside either Gary Dourdan or Eric Szmanda and the visual is not too bad... someone please stop me!

ithurtsmybrain - new round of The Pairings that Ate Fandom... I signed up for Daniel Jackson/Chloe Sullivan, and Martin Fitzgerald/Fred Burkle. The latter is basically plotted out, done in the dentist's chair this morning so who knows how coherent it will be. maggis??? I have a big long list of fic literally hand written out and stuck near my computer... you're getting blamed for the lion's share of it. Just thought I'd let you know.
