And since I gave
misssimm the notion for this week's
csi100 topic (Bon Jovi titles, and it was on the dance floor at a con; it really shouldn't be held against me!) I thought I'd better write for it...
Title: You Had Me From Hello
Pairing: Warrick/Sara
Spoilers: None
"You had me from hello."
If anyone had told Warrick that Sara watched romantic chick flicks, he would have laughed outright.
If they'd then told him that she could also be moved to tears by them, he would have been around for the men in white coats.
Then he sits beside her on the couch, hears that line uttered, sees her reaction, and he smiles.
"Don't laugh at me," she mutters, wiping her eyes, refusing to look at him.
"Wouldn't dream of it." Pulling her close, he kisses her cheek, and that's how they watch the rest of the movie.
Title: In These Arms
Rating: PG
Spoilers: None
Pairing: Sara/Warrick
Once Sara lived for her work, never taking vacations, maxing out on overtime, only going home when she absolutely had to.
Once Sara used to dream about Grissom loving her, waited for the day that he would look at her the way she looked at him.
Once Sara didn't trust Warrick, was convinced that they could never be friends.
Today, none of these things are true.
Today, she trusts Warrick not only with her life, but with her heart as well, and when he holds her, she knows that in these arms, she has all that she could ever need.
Title:The Distance
Pairing: Warrick/Sara
Spoilers: None
Rating: PG, angst
Warrick knows the geography of Las Vegas, knows how far away they are from Desert Palm Hospital.
He could be there in minutes, but he's frozen in place, kneeling beside Sara, cradling her in his arms, one of her hands in his. Her eyes are wide and scared, her face growing ever paler as the dark stain on her shirt grows.
"You're going to be fine," he tells her, and she grimaces..
"No I'm not," she whispers, and he knows she's right.
The distance between here and Desert Palm isn't even five miles.
It might as well be five hundred.
