So HelsinkiCousin phones me last week, looking for a lesson plan, and being as I'm a teacher, she thought I'd have one. I tell her I'm a teacher, we don't do lesson plans (they're a student thing) but I could throw one together. So she tells me that she needs one for teaching the time in Irish, and oh, by the way, it has to be in Irish.
*headdesk*
Remembered, after the weekend's activities, that I had to do the frellin' thing, so just threw something together now (and Holy Mary Mother of God, do I mean threw.) Have to bring it into school tomorrow to get the Irish dictionary at it, because I know my grammar is likely up my arse in it, and I swear, Word does not like the Irish language síneadh fada on the vowels (á,é etc) ... I think my brain might now face the other direction.
But on the other hand, it is done.
And I have fic. For the
sn100 "What was that?" challenge. Sports Night, so it's Dan/Natalie... go on, be surprised!
Surprised Like That
“Umm… Natalie?”
“Yes Dan?”
“What was that?”
“It was a kiss Danny… and if you have to ask, it obviously didn’t have the effect I was hoping for.”
“Natalie-”
“Never mind… you know what? This was obviously a mistake. I thought… never mind. I’m just going to go be… somewhere else.”
“Natalie, wait!”
“Dan, believe me, if this is the ‘I think of you as a sister’ speech, I really-”
“It’s not.”
“It’s not?”
“It’s not. I don’t. I was just… surprised.”
“Surprised good?”
“Surprised very good.”
“Surprised like you’d want to do it again?”
“Surprised just like that, yeah.”
>*<*>*<
And now I have yet more fic to write. And LJ icons to clear out. (Am tired of some, have others that I want to put in, including one from
dynamic_gravity that necessitates fic, as soon as I figure out a plot bunny!)
