House buying hell...

Latest update from estate agents is that there seems to be a glimmer of hope that the contracts will be ready for signing next week, possibly as early as Tuesday. Couple who are selling the house are splitting up, both names on deeds, and she's getting deeds put in her name so that she can sell it and it sounds like he's been playing silly beggars (for three months) but that he's signing tomorrow... so deeds can go to solicitor, contracts can be drawn up and sent to my solicitor the next day, which would be Saturday, which means Monday, which in all reality means Tuesday if I am lucky. *crosses fingers toes and everything crossable*

So anyone out there who's on good terms with whatever patron deity you believe in??? Throw a few good words my way, please???!!!

Off to merry old England tomorrow, until Sunday night, to attend a wedding with HelsinkiFiancé... will have to pay Ryanair for my bags at the airport, as the flight was booked pre-August 10th and new hand luggage restrictions... didn't pay to check bag in when I booked (I'm like, it's a weekend only, I can carry my little case with me!) and then the restrictions came in... meant to ring up about it ever since (because you can't seem to do it online!) and tried the phone number every day this week... couldn't get through. Money grabbing bastards!!

But I shall enjoy my weekend anyway!!!
