Christian Kane (Lindsey) - Guh.
J August Richards (Gunn) - adorable as I expected him to be. And he can dance.
Stephanie Romanov (Lilah) - you think she's going to be so cool and calm and regal and refined... surprise! Crazy. And we love her for it.
Jonathan Woodward (Knox) - Lunatic. Complete total and utter lunatic. Loved him!
David Denman (Skip) - first con, and he was up first on Sat morning, with no support...very mean! Got into the talk as time went on, and during Sunday's talk, when paired with Jonathan, I have never laughed as hard in my life.
Carrie Grace (costume supervisor) - also girlfriend/fiancee of Jonathan Woodward and quite simply too adorable for words. Goofy and quirky, and hair a lovely shade of teal. The two of them did a talk together on the Saturday...talk about your perfect match!
Dayne Johnson (makeup supervisor) - very interesting talk.

Steve Carlson from Kane (Christian's band) - very nice, a lefty, so he's automatically cooler, great singer, and did I mention the acoustic set they did on the Saturday night? Wonderful.

Christian Kane? Guh. Did I mention that?

Sunday talk, Steve and Christian together. Christian mentions Garth Brooks a couple of times, so someone asks him what his favourite song is. He mentions The Dance (which they performed the previous evening) and also The River, for the philosophy therein. Then Steve says something off mike, and next thing, Christian begins to sing "She's sun and rain, she's fire and ice..." then stops, which is good, because if he'd done any more, I might not have made it through to the end of the talk... he said he loves that song but "What's the name... does anyone know the name?" Well, the old brain wasn't working so wel through the fog of hormones, but I got it together enought to holler out "She's Every Woman", whereupon he looks down at me and goes "She's Every Woman! Thank you!"

Yes, I did need to be propped up. He's hot.

Morena Baccarin (Inara) - stunning. Standing beside her in a picture, not a pleasant experience, because lordy, do you suffer in comparison! She's cut her hair... I liked it long.
Summer Glau (River) - so so sweet.
Nathan Fillion (Mal) - I have a sister and a friend who nearly hung up the phone on me after I called to tell them that he was there... gorgeous, inside and out. During the photo session, we were told to look up at the light then at the camera, so that we wouldn't get red-eye... in the next queue, Joanne goes, damn, I forgot to do that... my response? "Me too. But I'm cheek to chest with Nathan Fillion... if I have red eye, I'll deal!" (FYI, a very little bit and I'm dealing with it just fine!)


For carolinecrane because it made me think of you. - David Denman, it said in his bio, was in CSI Miami. Didn't recognise him, though he looked familar. Questions thin on the ground, so I asked him "What was it like working on CSI Miami?" He replied that it was hard, because he played a rapist on it, so shooting those scenes was horrible. Then he said something along the lines of "And Caruso... he's intense. Standing there, staring off into the distance..." At which point, he cocks the hip and puts his hand on it, in a dead on Horatio impression, which had me in knots laughing... "With his sunglasses..." And he reaches up and adjusts the Sunglasses of Justice, at which point all I could think of was [Bad username or site: caroline crane @ livejournal.com] -- it's not just the fans who mock him! He went on to say that he was on the show back when Kim Delany was on it, "And I don't know why she's not on that show any more" -- part of me was thinking "I could hazard a guess, but I'm not saying it here!" but the major part of me copped on to who he was, so picture me with hand over mouth going "Oh my God!" David, at that point, looked at me funny, and I'm looking up at him going, "Sorry, I've just realised who you were!" and he goes, "Yeah... the rapists, with the cigars and the buring on the face..." and Joanne is beside me going "I think I've seen that" and I'm there to her, "Yeah, the Kennedys' episode..." - at which point David really gave me a funny look!
