May. 31st, 2011 10:16 pmAfter much deliberation, I've decided not to sign up for
het_bigbang. While the Tim/Kelly story totally ate my brain, and I may well write it, I don't have the time to devote to it to ensure getting it in before the deadline, and I don't believe in setting myself up for failure. What with
ncis_bigbang and summer holidays and doing an online summer course, it's just not in the cards for me.
Have been watching Sony TV's Dawson's Creek reruns, now that they're up to season three and it's on at seven which is the prime "Give Nimoy her last bottle and put her to bed and then tidy up" hour. (Thank God for livepause!) Today's, which I made sure I watched, was "A Weekend in the Country." And let me just say, ten years and more later, that last scene still packs a punch. From a show that could be as subtle as a box of anvils raining down upon you, this was the episode where they removed all doubt and proved that Pacey was in love with Joey, and they did it without him having to say a word. This remains one of my all time best scenes in the history of any show ever, and in honour of that, I was going to give you a pic of the last scene but now I show you my new wallpaper, courtesy of someone far more talented than I will ever be!
