I'm going to have to look at Jimmy's first scene with Sandy again. Because I missed most of the dialogue from screaming, "Jimmy! The hair! No! Nooooooo!" It needs to be cut. And the stubble? No.
Speaking of stubble, it's looking good on Ryan. And me? Not so much with the Ryan love. This ep though? He was looking good... and his eyes looked bluer than they did last year! And he smiled! He smiled twice! I did not know Ben McKenzie had that many teeth!
Seth... I love you. I do. But you need a good slap.
Marissa? You need to die. Horribly. Soon. That "Level 4 Meltdown" that Julie witnessed? As bad as I feared it would be. Though the scene where Julie and Jimmy talked? Was really kinda sweet.
Summer and Captain Oats? Made me sniffle.
I love my show.
And on with the fic, for the

Title: Make Every Last Moment Last
Fandom: CSI
Pairing: Warrick/Sara
Rating: PG13
Word Count: 582
When Sara kisses him, it’s a little too hard; when her nails dig into his skin, he knows they’re leaving marks behind. Not that Warrick objects to that per se; after all, he knows he’s kissing her just as fiercely, holding her just as tightly. It’s his way of proving to himself that she really is here, with him, because he’s wanted this for a long time, but never thought that it would happen. They were friends, colleagues, she was in love with Grissom, and that was all there was to it. He never imagined that he had a chance with her, never imagined that they would end up here.
Yet here they are, in his house, in his bed, her body pressed against his, arching against his mouth, her breath heavy in his ears.
He’s still not exactly sure how it happened, how they crossed that borderline between spending every waking hour together on a case and every sleeping hour together not sleeping. He remembers walking Sara to her car, remembers telling her to drive safely. Then he heard his own voice inviting her to breakfast at his place, and he was so sure that she was going to shake her head, decline the offer.
Which is when a slow smile spread across her face as she said yes, and he knew that food was the last thing on her mind.
He had the entire drive home to think about what they were going to do, worry about whether it was a good idea, and when he parked in his driveway, when her car was parked and she was walking towards him, he was all ready to back out completely.
Then her hand slid into his and all bets were off.
He’s pretty sure that she kissed him first, pressing him up against the front door, nimble fingers making short work of the buttons of his shirt. Neither were his hands idle, pulling up her shirt as his lips found her neck, smiling against her flesh as he caught the faint odour of the chemicals they both worked with all day.
“You need a shower,” he murmured, not lifting his head, and he felt, as well as heard, her laughing response.
“We can do that too…” she breathed, the words bringing a wider smile to his face, a smile that swiftly vanished once her hands found the clasp his jeans, because then this wasn’t a laughing matter any more.
How they made it to the bedroom is as much of a mystery to him as anything else that’s happened thus far, as much as a mystery as what’s going to happen in the cold light of day. There are certain immutable forces in the world, after all; among them, first, that Sara Sidle is in love with Gil Grissom; second, that Sara Sidle does not do one night stands.
He’s not sure where that leaves him.
He’s also not sure he cares.
Because she is Sara, and for once, she’s not sullen, not distracted by thoughts of work, not being choked by feelings she can’t express. She is alive and vibrant in his arms, her face flushed, eyes bright with emotion, his name on her lips. She’s not thinking about anything beyond this moment, and neither is he, no matter how much he might want to.
Just for this moment, she is here, with him, and if this is all they have, then he’s going to make every last moment last.

As Long As You’re Mine
Song from the musical Wicked.
Kiss me too fiercely, hold me too tight,
I need help believing you’re with me tonight.
My wildest dreaming could not foresee
Lying beside you, with you wanting me.
Just for this moment, as long as you’re mine,
I’ve lost all resistance and crossed some borderline
And if it turns out it’s over too fast
I’ll make every last moment last
As long as you’re mine.
Maybe I’m brainless, maybe I’m wise,
But you’ve got me seeing through different eyes.
Somehow I’ve fallen under your spell
And somehow I’m feeling it’s up that I fell.
Every moment as long as you’re mine
I’ll wake up my body and make up for lost time.
Say there’s no future for us as a pair
And though I may know I don’t care
Just for this moment as long as you’re mine
Come be how you want to
And see how bright we shine
Borrow the moonlight until it is through
And know I’ll be here holding you
As long as you’re mine.
