Today, I received in the post a CD with eps 8-10 of season two BSG - so I can now go to the con and not worry about being spoiled for it, oh yay!


Quick hits - weird seeing Xena with her natural accent. Loved how they worked in the original music at the end of the episode - I squealed like a fangirl! Nice character insights to Dee; I'm now even more upset that she's not going to be at G1 this weekend. Yeah, should have seen the ending coming, and yet, I completely didn't.

Flight of the Phoenix - ah, my beloved Tyrol, how I adore thee. Thought Aaron did a great job on this, and I'm not fully recovered from his scene with Tigh... nor yet the scene at the end! What the hell did he say to her???? (And if it turns out that we find that out in episode ten, then please don't tell me anything; I'll look at that tomorrow!)

They're making it hard for me not to ship Lee/Kara to be honest with you... until, that is, they give me another ship on which to sail... Lee/Dee, the ship so meant to be that it even rhymes! I've shipped for way less than what I saw in that episode, so if anyone can point me to fic with these two, then comment away!

There is a WrongEvilDirtyWrongBadWrongWrongWrongWrong fic bunny wandering around my head, I fully intend to shoot it dead before it springs to fruition.

Nice work from Roslin when she got her test results...and in Final Cuts, Mrs Tigh didn't completely annoy me.

Two more days to Galactica, and the kids have a half day on Friday. This is of the good. Of course, tomorrow I must do PE, and there might be a father in, in relation to an incident on the yard where his little bastard child son was denying he did something, despite the fact that other kids said he did, and when I put him standing by the wall, refused to go, telling me, and I quote "I know my rights and I'm not going to be punished for something I didn't do" etc etc... refused again when I told him to go, only going when I told him that he was now standing out more for being an obnoxious little shit being rude to a teacher, and he thereby stomped off, informing me over his shoulder that, once again, he knew his rights and, I quote, "You'll be hearing from my father."

Off I went to HelsinkiPrincipal right after lunch, informed him of the incident. He investigated further, found more evidence that the child was lying through his teeth not being entirely truthful, though he was still denying it... HelsinkiPrincipal roundly gave out to him, put him in the yard book, gave him four pages of writing and said that he has to apologise to me. Then HelsinkiPrincipal got all proactive, rang the father and gave him our side of it, and Father agreed that no, Child couldn't be going on like that. Remains to be seen whether he'll be up or not. We shall see.

But did I mention two days to Galactica? OK then.
