Actor Peter Wingfield has joined the cast of HOLBY CITY.
Having started filming this month, Peter has signed a one year contract to play Surgical Consultant Daniel Clifford. His fansite revealed he was excited about this new opportunity of joining the medical drama.
43 year old Peter, who was born in Cardiff has a vast acting career including leading TV roles in Medics, Soldier Soldier and The Men's Room. More recently he has appeared in Crocodile Shoes, Murder in Mind and had cult following in his role in the Highlander series. He also spent two years on radio serial The Archers.
He has also featured in a number of American films including X-Men 2 and Catwoman aswell as TV show Smallville, having been based in Vancouver for a number of years.
