helsinkibabyOdd request I Know, but bear with me. Those of you who have my email address, when you see this, could you send me an email and let me know if it tells you that it's been sent or bounces back to you or if it behaves oddly at all???
I ask, because I can't connect to my regular payforit ISP, and the sister who has a free connection gave me the settings to set up a free connection on my machine and hence I am here. But my email account, when I check it through a web based site, says I have no messages. No messages, LJ comments, nothing. Not even spam. I don't think that's normal.
Since I usually get some kind of invoice to tell me that I need to pay my account in August, and got nothing this year, I'm freaking out that they might have cut me off without any notice, which I don't think they can do but you never know... I'm thinking that the server/network might be acting up, but I can't get through on the helpline (hellish hold world of holding, did the call back service retaining your place in the queue thing, haven't got calll back yet, which would support the network down thing I suppose.....) but yeah... I be suspicious!!!
ETA: emailanywhere won't let me read anything, says I have no messages. The ISP web based page says I have 45. The weird just keeps coming.
