conjunkie! Just been talking to Himself and he wants to know which songs do you want him to take to SG11 to play for you... Mr Blue Sky he remembers, but we both are sure that there was something else that we can't think of!



I wanted Georgina to leave tonight, because for the first time she looked happy with what she did, and a high note is the least she deserves after all the heartache she's gone through these few weeks! (Though an 8 from Len? I'm sorry, but no. Just ... no.)

I think everyone was scared because of what happened to Spoony last week... my heart nearly broke for Camilla during the results show when it showed her near to tears backstage. I thought that Peter and Erin might go, because they were rock bottom with two couples tied above them... and another two couples tied above them! I wasn't sure if Erin/Peter had the public vote to beat Brendan or Anton.... guess they're more popular than I thought!

As for Brendan, he has my complete and unwavering support in what he said... though I really want to wind the video back and lipread what got bleeped out backstage! *g* The judging has been wickedly inconsistent this season, and while I'm willing to make allowances for their particular areas of interest (Bruno will mark higher if it's a good performance, Arlene will mark higher if it's a male she fancies) what I can't understand is when they disagree on the areas of technique... I mean, Louisa either flowed, or she didn't. (And I thought Vincent pulled her around the floor, and she lost me with the whole "I'm only 17" bit, though got me back a little when she held her hands up and admitted she found it tough.) My point is that when it comes to technique, they shouldn't be disagreeing on that!

The best line from Brendan tonight came in the results show when he said "If the sky is blue, stop calling it pink" because that's the whole problem. They say Emma had bad footwork and bad posture throughout the dance, could have been better, and still give her an 8. Georgina's foxtrot was better than anything else she offered, but it was nowhere near an 8. Emma's jive last week wasn't a 9, just like Louisa's wasn't a 10. And when the judges were asked in the results show who should go, Arlene and Len clearly went for Brendan as a direct result of what he said, rather than looking at the dancing, which at least Craig and Bruno were able to do when they went for Peter.

I thought that Mark's paso doble was the best by a mile, and this is coming from someone who hates the paso... I have been known to grind my teeth for an entire OD section of the ice dance competition! Ray and Camilla's was also great, but what's with the faces?

Emma was good for someone who didn't really practice. Matt and Lilia were very good, and I think he's one of those people who will be good when he holds her, not so much when he's on his own. Much like Peter Schmiechel. Carol and Matthew... it was Lionel Richie's Stuck on You, yes? I can barely remember it, which shows what I thought of that...

Jan and Anton...oh dear me, I try to like them and just can't seem to do it. And what's more, I think they'll be gone next week... if ballroom this week means Latin next, then they're going to have to salsa. And between her lack of natural ability and Anton's lack of Latin ability (apologies to the Anton fans, you are never going to convince me that he's a good Latin dancer!) they're in serious trouble. Particularly since Peter and Matt should both be doing ballroom, where they can hold their partners.

But I really can't wait to see ITT on Monday night.... the backstage stuff should be a hoot!
