OK, well, looking at last week's episode would have better clued me in for this...missed the last two but have them on SkyBox.
But the real thing is the ending. I had read the spoiler but never thought it would happen. Am now wondering was it better to be half prepared (because dude, by half way through the episode, I'd realised it was all moving in the right direction) or if I didn't want to know.
Tosh is my favourite character, followed closely by Ianto, and it broke my heart to lose her. And the line "Because you're breaking my heart"? And the video? *bawls again*
Put it this way, Himself found me clutching a cushion with tears rolling down my cheeks as I did the whole sobbing ugly cry and he did not understand.
It broke me. Not so much Owen (but how much did Burn Gorman rock in that screaming scene? Because it could have been scenery chewing at its finest, but he pulled it off) but Tosh. Oh Tosh.
Other thoughts.
The destruction of Cardiff? The team's reactions? Very cool.
Gwen in the police station did not annoy me. Rhys's looking at her, thinking how amazing she is, and PC Andy calling him a lucky git? Loved that.
Rhys picking Gwen up off the ground and telling her that she was a hero? Then to go to the Hub? I repeat it until my tongue stiffens...Rhys you are too damn good for her.
James Marsters, you are a one trick pony, but it's a very good trick.
And just to be contrary? Tosh/Ianto anyone? Just me then? OK.
TOSH! NO!!!!
