katy_moon_beam, I sought and YouTubed the season nine promo of CSI.
Oh my God, Grissom finds him????? And he dies in Grissom's arms? (I am assuming he dies, from what I read on the back of the DVD season 8 pictures, and from the fact that he got shot twice in the neck, though I cannot recall ever reading anywhere that he does actually snuff it, but I'm not holding out hope.)
"Warrick, stay with me? Oh my God?!"
The last bit? Exactly what I was thinking!
That is brutal. I was expecting a time shift, a time lapse, I was expecting that we would come in on the shock, the havoc, the announcement, the hospital, something! But to just have the way it is there...with Grissom running and obviously pulling him from the car, begging him not to die... this is just like Speedle. That killed me. This may be worse. If only because I like Grissom.
And Sara? "I caught the first flight out." The look on her face? Oh, I could have cried. And in a neat bit of symmetry, a shooting involving Warrick first brought her to Vegas, now a shooting involving Warrick brings her back. Nicely done, even if I doubt the writers did it intentionally.
This is outside the cut, as I think everyone knows about this bit - Question while it enters my mind - do we know why GD decided to leave? Was he pushed or did he jump? Anyone?
