Instead of a church, she’s in a New York registry office, the simple cream dress she wears doing little to disguise a six-month baby bump.
Instead of a long ceremony, the service is short, over inside thirty minutes.
Instead of family and friends, their only witnesses are Jack McCoy and Kevin Bernard.
But when Cyrus slips that golden ring on her finger, when she sees the look in his eyes, the smile on his lips, she wouldn’t trade this day for all of her childhood dreams.
