helsinkibabyJust finished looking at the Duets episode of Glee and all I can say is, thank goodness for that. After the last ep, which all the Staff Room Gleeks unaminously agreed we would forget ever happened, and made me break my long standing rule about not going all fangirly in the staff room (rage blackouts tend to scare people) this was such a welcome relief.
Nice to see Mike Chang getting something to do, and the duet with Tina was class. Poor Artie though... I can't believe I'm now shipping him and Brittany.
Saw a bit of a hoo haa about the Brittany/Santana stuff online/in the Daily Fail but it seemed like much ado about nothing to me. That said, there are girls in my class of 11 and 12 year olds who watch Glee, so I wonder what they made of it all.
Santana and Mercedes' River Deep was made of win.
I like Quinn and Sam, and their version of Lucky was so frickin' cute.
Rachel annoyed me less than she has done all season with the scene with Kurt at the end, and the whole "Get Happy". And between that and "Le Jazz Hot" Chris Colfer did not annoy me at all, and normally (unpopular fannish opinion ahoy!) I don't like Kurt that much. It was nice, however, to see Finn call him out on the whole "stalker" thing - "If I'd done that to a girl, she'd get a restraining order." Too true!
Fingers crossed for Rocky Horror next week!
Nimoy continues to develop apace. She is now proper crawling, as opposed to swim-crawling, and is now pulling herself up on everything. Including the backs of my legs when I'm standing with my back to her making her bottle, which is quite alarming!
Class continue to be dotes, really nice kids. *knocks wood* Have not given them an entrance exam yet, they appear disappointed; lord knows what will happen when I do, they won't know what hit them! May do that the Monday after the midterm, and I am so looking forward to my week off!
