helsinkibabyIt is with no small amount of death in my soul that I post this link, but not only does it appear that the Kerrs have withdrawn from worlds this year, it appears they may have retired altogether and absolutely.
Snippet - Sinead, 32, told the Herald: "It's disappointing we have had to retire in these circumstances, but when we came off the ice at the Europeans in Berne, we turned to each other and said 'if this is our final performance, it's a pretty good way to bow out'.
"The crowds were cheering us on - they have always been terrific, wherever we have competed, and we have lots of great memories. These last few years have been fantastic."
