Finished the new Claudia Gray novel, Afterlife last night, and loved it.

I liked how there was a happy ending for Lucas and Bianca, and the reunions with Bianca's parents were really touching. Liked how Raquel and Dana came through for them, how Skye looked like she was going to be a rival for Bianca but ended up being awesome. Vic's "she's got my ghost!" line made me laugh out loud, and how blind have I been not to realise that he's totally their Xander? Ranulf has really grown on me and Balthazar remains, as ever, awesome. Though if i could also read some of Ranulf's life story i would not complain!

Saw Taylor Swift in concert at the weekend with smiley_band thought she was fabulous. Would have preferred if she had sung more off the previous albums - 4 songs from Fearless, nothing at all from the first album, and if you're telling people about the type of songs you write and mention how you wrote one about burning your ex's pictures and then you don't sing the song, well that's just plain bad manners. Love Story was, as expected, the encore and it amazed me how many people left before she played it... And as for the noise...don't get me wrong, i can do noise, but as I said to smiley_b it wasn't so much the noise as the pitch that got me...ten thousand mostly young girls and teenagers all screaming at once is something else!
