NCIS LA blather
Apr. 17th, 2011 11:30 pmJust spent the last couple hours looking at NCIS LA 2x14 "Lockup" and 2x18 "Harm's Way" - they are fun looked at together back to back!
First off, the scene where Kensi throws herself into Nate's arms will never get old. Ever. And is it just me who's hearing Deeks needling her about her rather OOC reaction to the handsome psychologist? Yes? OK then.
Sam finding Mo will also never get old, but not in a good way.
Nate being back in Yemen a week after Abdul got there... ok show, you did a nice job of having him infodump how dangerous it was and how he moved around at night and didn't go out during the day so Callen had to go and do the lunch run, but I find it hard to believe that Hetty, knowing the danger, knowing that Abdul believed Nate dead, would have stationed him there, asset or no asset.
Of course, that could be one oblique way of showing how coldblooded/compartmentalised Hetty actually is after so many years of doing this.
(Is anyone else besides me impressed that I didn't make a joke there about Nate's assets?OK then.)
Did you notice how Hetty told Kensi to get in touch with Nate and tell him to get the hell out of that hotel? Just me then? OK.
I have had two glasses of wine while I watched, and also my own body weight in Pringles. I make no apologies for anything I might type.
NCIS AU plot bunny has now migrated from a little scene into a GoogleDocs doc of 2,359 words, and that's the end of scene one. Way too long for
ncis_flashfic and also too much to delete. Will keep going and see where it leads me.
