NCIS LA/Hawaii 5-0/NCIS ramblings

helsinkibabyHave finally seen the NCIS LA / Hawaii 5-0 crossover and I'm sorry, that was not a crossover, that was a cameo! Five minutes where Kensi only interacts with Steve and Joe and then she's gone for the rest of the episode? I call false advertising!
Although, the backstory with Joe, the mission in Jakarta that he got her out of when he wasn't even supposed to know that she was there, the ease between them, that intrigues me. I'm guessing, though, that we'll never know the backstory!
Joe getting his ass kicked by Wo Fat... man that fight was full on!
Danny being a protective dad, running to get the kid *hearts him*
And I don't mind Lori that much. The brickbats about her and Steve though? They could get old real fast.

lasairfiona has fics Vacation Time, Breaking the Rules and Fun in the Sun, but is there any more out there? Because there kinda needs to be!
On a totally other note, one fic that I found on LJ, and it's NCIS, McGee/Ziva which I totally blamefailegaidin for getting me into (I think it was you!) called Through the Years by alidiabin.... exactly what it sounds like, a look at their life together, with an adorable link - Summary: One thing has been constant through their lives together; scrabble.
