Went to see Avengers Assemble last night, to be hereby known as Awesome Movie of Awesomeness.

I'm sure I'll have more to say once I read some other reactions but I loved it. I was afraid going in that with so many heroes that it would be a bit messy but it worked out well, everyone got their moment and there were some great lines! Loved Loki being stopped mid speech by Hulk, and Thor's "he's adopted" line had me giggling for ages.

I am expecting insane amounts of Bruce/Tony slash from this film; I've not seen two guys with that much chemistry since early Smallville! But Hawkeye/Black Widow? I am all over that!

Loved Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk; why did they not have him from the start?

RDJ is always amazing.

Jeremy Renner and his arms did not disappoint. One of the lads was wondering before it began why he was in the film; my answer, "Have you see his arms? Your argument is invalid!" He didn't agree with me but by the end of the film, his wife did! And finally? Agent Phi Coulson? NOT DEAD DAMMIT!
