Again trying the mobile app because I can.

After the pity party that was yesterday's post, I woke today to the universe apparently trying to make me feel better. 5 comments from AO3 about X Files fics (Doggett/Reyes) that I wrote earlier this year in the midst of our X Files rewatch and season 10. And not just short "this is great" type comments but actual paragraphs about stuff that worked and that they really liked. All comments by the same person and it really made my morning! I thought comments like that were gone the way of the LJ! (Not that I don't like short comments! Short comments are great! I love short comments! Please don't think I'm complaining!)

There's an Outlander con on in London today that I considered doing (could have staffed it) but didn't because of various issues...kind of glad now because after the week I had, I'm so not in a party for three days and be nice to the fans who may be newbies and quite entitled kind of place. (Saw FB post from J who I'd have crewed with, it might have been Friday night excitement but they seemed quite ...em... eager? according to her!)

Have five year old birthday party to go to later - with a bouncy castle. Oh the fun...
