Arrow season one...

So this weekend Himself is over at the Crucible in Sheffield, looking at the World Snooker Championships because that was his birthday present this year for I am a loving and caring wife. Nimoy had a birthday party this afternoon. Therefore, I have been able to complete my Arrow season one rewatch/first time watch because I was very sporadic in watching it back then.
My thoughts. Which I will put under the cut just in case there's anyone who's not watched it.
Diggle is my favourite.
Diggle and Felicity are my ship. And yes, I know. I just don't care. How can you watch The Odyssey and not ship them, it just eludes me.
Diggle and Carly... no. Just no. And not because of the aforementioned ship I do sail, but she's his brother's wife. I can't go there and I'm sorry, I don't like Diggle going there either. (If I do Het Big/Little Bang with them, I have a Felicity line all ready to go about this.)
Lyla, I like. I am sure Digg/Lyla will find a place in my heart when I get to season two (which is complete virgin territory for me) but Felicity/Diggle, I love.
TOMMY!!! Oh Tommy! I have said that so many times in the last half dozen episodes. I love him. Love him. I am incoherent with my love for him. I even love him with Laurel. Who I know gets obscene amounts of fandom hate and not having seen season two or three I can't speak to what she becomes but I don't find anything that hugely objectionable about her in season one. The whole best friend's ex thing is kinda hinky, true, but then again, it's not like Oliver has that much to object to, considering what he was doing when the boat went down, and anyway, my love for Tommy carries me through. And I knew, I knew, I knew he was going to die before the end of the season because I am spoiled in so many ways for this show (I will read stuff about shows I don't watch because if/when I get to watch them I usually only remember the broad brushstrokes) but that was so much worse than I thought it was going be to! Because I actually wanted to cry for Oliver and that is rare for me, because, and unpopular opinion ahead, but let's just say that Oliver Queen has me carrying on my longstanding tradition of rarely GAF about the leading man of a show!
Did I mention my love for Tommy?
Seriously. Give me the Tommy fic. Give me all of it. Give me the AU Tommy fic, I know it's out there.
What else? Quentin Lance, I am lookin forward to seeing you and Joe West together in a couple of weeks when I get around to watching The Flash with Himself. The scene in the finale with him and Laurel on the phone just broke me!
Roy and Thea... she went to the glades to rescue him! I love that! The kiss in front of a burning building? SOLD!
How much fun did John Barrowman have in this? No scenery left unchewed!
Oh god, I have other thoughts but it is almost twenty past eleven at night and I'm really resisting the urge to put in disc one of season two!
But seriously, I meant it about the fanfic!
