So I finally got around to watching the season two opener.

So I was spoiled going in. And now I know why I resisted watching it for so long.

Best as friends? When they haven't even managed to go on one date yet? The absolute ever loving fuck?!

I have watched a lot of teen drama in my time, I have been annoyed by many different facets of those shows, you're talking to someone who watched Kelly Taylor choosing herself first run pre internet so no spoilers. I have NEVER wanted to throw something through my tv screen as much as I just did.

It makes NO SENSE for her feelings to change after ONE NIGHT where all that changed was they found the pod, and she saw the new DEO building. Have her dating him and realising she can't balance everything, have them dating and throw in some of the usual CW type love triangle bullshit (which if reading the tags on AO3 is any indication, not that I go to the Supergirl page much but I read the Flash page and the amount of 'crossovers' that have a Kara/Mon-El pairing is ridiculous, so it would not be that hard) but don't insult me, as a viewer who watched season one, and throw that bullshit at me.

I can't even comment on anything else because I'm so mad!

Yay, I was left feeling the same way. I haven't been able to voice how much I hate they broke them up without James and Kara even going on one date.

Yes as I'm living there as well.

I'm not fond of the story lines this season for James and Kara though I do like J'onn and Alex's stories so far.
