Spent lovely day yesterday with

maggis and

smiley_b discussing many things fannish. Thanks to

maggis I now have a fandom, pairing and plot for my

smallfandombang story, and a list of other stories to write (Kensi in Hawaii post the 5-0 ep, which should be fun considering I've not seen it; a Ned and Stacey fix it fic because the last ep broke

maggis and I'm sure there were more!)

Nightmare of a night with Nimoy, let's hope tonight goes better.

After said nightmare, spent today shopping with

smiley_b Did not get her a dress for the family wedding, but got other stuff, mostly clothes but following said nightmare, I indulged in some serious retail therapy and got Hawaii5-0. On Blu Ray. Yes, I am weak. And I don't care.

Break Part One Part Two Part Three - Star Trek XI, Spock/Uhura, the epic fic of how they got together.

Also, good news bad news. Fame Seasons 1 and 2 being released - yay to that. Date is Sept 15th. However, and I quote, Seasons 1 & 2 will come to a 7-disc set on September 15th. The cost will be $39.98 SRP in the USA, and CA$54.98 SRP in Canada. Running time is 1192 minutes, and the first 4 discs in the 7-disc set will be single-sided, containing the first season's 16 episodes. Then remaining 3 discs are double-sided, containing the 22 episodes from the show's second season (there were six seasons in all).

Of course, I already have the first season, but I can buy them again if it means I get the second! Also the mention of 6 seasons in all fills me with hope.

Quick question that I've already asked someone else, but having been at the Asylum Supernatural con in the UK at the weekend (not as an attendee, happily enough by the looks of those queues; Himself was DJing so I went along for the parties and to see the peoples), if you know of any LJs/places with con reports, I'd be really interested to read them!

Also, I need to find out more about this Misha person, because apparently he's very pretty and funny, who knew???
