Well, if you remember yesterday's entry, you'll remember that it was all about unpopular/uncon ships and the fic that's out there is scarce as hen's teeth. When it comes to Mike/Debra, much of it is mine, but TaffySinclair has two fabulous Mike/Debra fics on AO3. Static on the Radio has Mike and Debra in a relationship, with Mike trying to find out about Debra's past. bottle up and explode has them meeting up again eighteen months after the Carroll case ended.

For Pete/Myka, the one I've found that I just adore is Spin Me Round Just To Pin Me Down by sleepingheartsawake which is a look at how Myka realised that Pete was in love with her and how she realised she loved him back. This is the summary - So here they are. They just saved the world again and she might have almost died and he looks at her and there's that thing in his eyes that she only sees when he looks at cookies or his mother and suddenly she knows. How can you not want to read that?

Five People Who Realised Catherine is Fucking Awesome (And One Person Who Already Knew) - Hawaii Five-0 and the title says it all! Good Steve/Cath is hard to find!

And the benchmark for all Sherlock Molly/Lestrade fic - An Avalanche of Detour Signs by gyzym. It rewrites the two seasons from a Molly/Lestrade perspective and it's in character and amazing and wonderful and ALL THE GOOD THINGS!

So, one of Himself's groomsmen got Himself the BluRay of Sherlock season one, which we had not looked at despite knowing the pedigree and how popular it was, because really, we can't take another show right now. Except that Himself decided to look at it, and I sat and looked at it with him.

Suffice to say, let's just forget that I am late to the party and embrace the fact that I have arrived at all.

Love it. Love Sherlock, adore John and the writing is Steven Moffat at his Press Gang, Spike and Lynda best! (Seriously, I really want to rewatch The Last Word right now!) We blew through season one in three nights, whereupon I went shopping and got season two, and we watched A Scandal in Belgravia last night, and would be watching more tonight except he's on a nightshift. I hate nightshifts!

So, anyway, I'm reading ye olde friends list last night before Nimoy comes into our room (total other story) and what do I see on het_reccers? A shipper manifesto for none other than Molly Hooper and DI Greg Lestrade. And let's face it, while I know that Sherlock fandom is all about the Sherlock/John, with the best will in the world and no offense to anybody, but I am not all so much about the slash. I am also, as those who know me will attest, all about the tertiary characters and the WTF??? uncon pairings.

I was lost.

Absolute favourite story they rec there is An Avalanche of Detour Signs which is long and plotty and has spoilers for all two seasons (even the two I've not yet seen, but then again I'm spoiled for it all, beceause I had a livejournal when 2x03 aired, and between that and various news websites that went wild over it, I would have literally had to put out my eyes to be not spoiled for that cliffhanger!) In which Molly Hooper gets a job, gets a degree, breaks a heart, has her heart broken, falls in love, keeps a secret, saves a life, runs a morgue, falls apart, pulls it together, and finds exactly what she didn't know she was looking for--not necessarily in that order.

And my icon? How cool is that icon?? *hugs it*

It is also possible that I may have joined tumblr, just to reblog some of the graphics that I found while on my icon hunt.
