helsinkibabyGot my WW S4 DVDs today. And the new Blades on Ice with Bourne and Tchernyshev (which ever after will be referred to as B&T because dude!) on the front of it... man alive they're pretty together.
Backlog of stuff to watch being added to aside, this was a welcome thing, as post was late and got it when I returned from my first consult with the orthodonist. Very nice man from Derry (hey, we've all got our problems) took me through everything I needed to know, did the whole moulds and photos thing, and I have another appointment for further consultations during the midterm break. But it looks like traintracks on top and bottom, with possible extractions on the top first. And I ask myself, is it ridiculous to want to wait to be fitted with same until after the Level3 con? (ie, in my photo with Peter DeLuise, would I rather have crooked teeth, or crooked teeth with braces? Answers on a postcard!)
And to prove that I'm not entirely vain (although maybe a little) I have my 3rd Sports Night drabble in as many days. *headdesk* Dan/Natalie, as if you needed to ask.
Title: Still Crazy After All These Years
“Did you know it’s our anniversary?”
Dan fights back a smile as his wife raises an eyebrow, like she doesn’t know whether to hit him or be amused by him. “Dan, our anniversary’s in September,” Natalie reminds him, and he shakes his head, slipping his arms around her waist.
“Not our wedding,” he says. “The first time I kissed you.”
Her face clears, and she smiles too. “Isaac’s retirement party.”
“You weren’t too happy with me,” he teases, and she ducks her head, embarrassed.
“I thought you were crazy.”
“I was,” he says, touching her cheek. “And I still am.”
